Only One Hour Fifteen Minutes From Nashville and Forty Minutes To Huntsville
Excellent employed solo opportunity to be busy with a supportive referral base in place ! to welcome the incoming surgeon. The position calls for a skilled physician who practices general Orthopedics in addition to total joint replacement and revisions. A sports background is a plus but not a requirement. Spacious and remodeled operating rooms with block time available. Three CRNA's on staff to administer Anesthesia. The practice is on hospital campus with PACS available in both office and home. Required hospital call is ten days per month. Physical Therapy is available on an inpatient basis as well as three local outpatient practices. The draw area is all of Giles County, a population of 31,000. Affordable and safe family oriented community within driving distance to all of the amenities of Nashville and Huntsville.
About the Hospital
Hillside Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 95-bed facility providing complete clinical services with modern technology. Services offered by the hospital include a 24-hr. physician-staffed Emergency Depar! tment, LDRP-equipped Obstetrics Unit. Radiology services inclu! de Nuclear Medicine, CT, MRI and Digital Mammography. Other services include Community Education, Bone Densitometry, ENT, Surgery, Laboratory, Nutrition Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Patient Education, Industrial Safety Medicine, EKG/ EEG, Cardiac Rehab, Pharmacy, Sleep Studies, Pediatrics, Respiratory Therapy, Laparoscopic/Laser/Day Surgery, Geriatric Mental Health Services, Stress Testing/Pulmonary Function, Diabetes Center, a six-bed Invasive ICU, Endoscopy, Gastroenterology, Heliport/Lifeflight, Ophthalmology/Cataract Surgery and Orthopaedics.
