ESTIMATOR
Our client, a company in the construction industry, is urgently looking for an Estimator. The position is responsible for the estimating process and providing accurate market & competitor information to the
Commercial Director, whom the position also reports to. The position attracts a market related salary.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Estimating packages
▪ Effectively providing technology and operational support for the business
▪ BEE
▪ Programming
▪ Buying
▪ Subcontractors
▪ Knowledge of the market
▪ Conditions of contract
▪ Commercial knowledge
▪ Cash Flow
▪ Risk Analysis
▪ Compliance with the Estimating Procedures
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
The incumbent should have the following:
▪ At least a Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying with min 8 – 10 years on site
▪ Sound knowledge of site environments and workflow requirements
▪ Sound knowledge of tendering process
▪ Sound knowledge of quality control procedures
▪ Sound technical knowledge associated with site construction requirements
▪ Good management skills
▪ Computer literacy
▪ Microsoft Office skills
