Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Strategist to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our organization's mission and brand guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for curating a content library to provide guidance throughout the marketing process, researching and exploring trending topics to ensure all materials remain up-to-date, accurate, and relevant, and developing and executing social media content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
  • Curate a content library that provides guidance throughout the marketing process.
  • Create and publish high-quality content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Youtube etc.), including graphics, videos, and written copy.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and manage reputation management platforms for Facebook and Instagram.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Research and explore trending topics to ensure all materials remain up-to-date, accurate, and relevant.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our social media accounts are optimized for success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media strategies align with broader marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a social media strategist, social media manager, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and brand guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics (Buffer, Social listening tools, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
