Anesthesiologist - Pain Management - (Anesthesiology - Pa! in Management) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/21/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
This hospital on the outskirts of Nashville needs a pain management anesthesiologist(s) to fill in at their pain management clinic on a locum tenens basis until permament staff can be identified. Services would begin as soon as credentialing can be completed, the working hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Procedures required.
Pain management anesthesiologists (locum tenens) meet with patients in a preoperative setting to determine the best and safest course of action for pain management during the medical procedure and afterwards. They evaluate the patient's medical history, and special requirements in order to come up with the optimal course of action. During medical procedures, anesthesiologists monitor heart rate, blood pressure and other bodily functions and administer appropriate anesthesia. An anesthesiologist focuses on pain management ! to help patients feel comfortable before and after surgery.
Required Qualifications
The physician shall have active BLS and ACLS prior to the start date.
