What the job involves
- You will be responsible for leading the deal team including research, sourcing and coordinating financial, commercial, and legal due diligence
- Strong numerical skills are required for detailed quantitative analysis
- Participate in closing negotiations of target company valuations
- Work closely with portfolio companies, constantly re-evaluating their operations and performance and provide operational support
- Networking with inspiring entrepreneurs to identify new opportunities and build a presence in the market
- Work as part of an independent and empowered team
- Excellent academic record in a technical degree such as Business, Engineering, Science, or Technology
- Investment professional with significant prior venture experience (exposure to the US market is a plus, although not required)
- Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude with a humble and collaborative approach
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate key findings and conclusions to entrepreneurs and partners
- Very strong analytical thinking and modeling skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving motivation
- Ability to navigate in a fast-paced and complex environment and be curious and passionate about potential climate tech solutions
- Digital native, very comfortable with understanding new technologies, and proficient in MS Office
